About the event

TinkerQuest is a 2 weeks-long event organized by the Tinkering Lab Students' Body of IIT Roorkee, providing a dynamic platform for students across the nation to showcase their skills in diverse domains. The event is structured around three primary verticals: Software, Metaverse, Design, encompassing areas such as software development, AR/VR development, UI/UX Design. The Tinkering Lab Students' Body at IIT Roorkee is a group of tech-loving students who are passionate about building and innovating. They come from all different backgrounds and are working on both software and hardware projects to make a positive impact on the world.

Adbhut Khatri

I'm Adbhut Khatri, a third-year Electrical Engineering undergraduate at IIT Roorkee (JEE Advanced AIR 1818) and Project Lead for Technical Operations at the Tinkering Lab, where I head a team of 35+ students across software, metaverse, and product initiatives. I've personally mentored participants through TinkerQuest'25, TinkerQuest'24 and have hands-on experience running large-scale technical events, having coordinated competitions at Cognizance, IIT Roorkee's flagship tech fest with 50K+ registrations. My project portfolio spans AI, robotics, mobile development, and ML, giving me the technical depth to ensure sponsor problem statements are matched with genuinely capable teams.
