Mother's Day 5k Fun Run,

About the event

We are the Iowa Brewery Running Series® and we run for beer! 

Join us for a 5K-ish fun run that starts and ends at each location (they're connected by a parking lot). Whether you run, walk, or jog, this event is for all ages and fitness levels. Move at your own pace, enjoy some fresh air, and then celebrate with a locally made, cold craft beverage at the finish line! We're spoiling MOM today with wine or beer!

Participant registration includes:

 One beverage of your choice from Alluvial Brewing Co or Prairie Moon Winery

 Collector's pint glass or a series swag item from the Brewery Running Series

 Access to the day’s festivities including live music, food trucks, games with our partners and sponsors

Be active. Have fun. Give back. A portion of all proceeds from this event will support a local nonprofit.  Over $700k raised to date across all states!

On-site vendors and premier partners receive a free beer token for each representative present on run day.

WHAT WE DO

We organize (mostly 5k-ish) fun runs that all start and end at breweries, brew pubs, taprooms and tasting rooms.  We started in Minneapolis, MN in 2012. Locally based teams now execute ~300 events per year in 20+ states, continuing to build our beer run community. 

HOW WE DO IT

We coordinate with local breweries to plan an annual Series of events. For each event - we map out a fun run course to start and end at the host taproom. Participants pre-register, show up and complete the course, then hang out and drink beer! We love adding to the atmosphere with live music, food trucks, local vendors, and more.

WHY WE DO IT

Our motto - Be active. Have fun. Give back! Our events encourage healthy activity, show off and support local business, and raise funds for local non-profits.

• We’ve had over 150k+ registered participants to date

• BRS has operations in 26+ US states and counting

• We’ve collectively traveled over 1.8M miles, consumed over 275K local, craft beers and donated over $500K back to local nonprofit organizations
