About the event
FantomCode 2025, organized by the Department of ISE, was a national-level 24-hour hackathon conducted in two phases: the Ideation Round on April 5, 2025, and the Implementation Round from April 11–12, 2025. The event aimed to encourage innovation, teamwork, and practical problem-solving among engineering students. More than 75 teams participated in the initial round, out of which 21 teams were shortlisted for the final 24-hour coding phase. During the implementation round, teams developed working prototypes of their proposed solutions under continuous evaluation and mentoring. Projects were judged based on innovation, feasibility, technical implementation, scalability, and presentation quality. The first prize of ₹30,000 was awarded to Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering, followed by the second prize of ₹20,000 to Bangalore Institute of Technology, and the third prize of ₹10,000 to KLS Gogte Institute of Technology. The hackathon concluded with a valedictory ceremony celebrating innovation and technical excellence demonstrated by the participants
