About the event

Built at the Beach is a premium outdoor experience for women entrepreneurs and creatives hosted by The Woman Express, a Newark-based women's business community. On July 26, 2026, we are transforming a private venue at 6-8 Elizabeth Ave into a full beach-inspired experience — complete with real sand, string lights, VIP cabana sections, a live female artist performance, guest speakers, a women-owned vendor marketplace, and a full bar and food service.

The event is capped at 200 women and is designed to deliver both an elevated social experience and real business education. Attendees will leave with actionable marketing and sales strategies for their businesses alongside new connections, collaborations, and community.

The Woman Express has hosted multiple sold-out events in the New Jersey and New York area, including our Built at the Table quarterly dinner series, which has consistently attracted women entrepreneurs across industries including coaching, consulting, real estate, beauty, health and wellness, and creative services.

Built at the Beach represents our largest and most ambitious event to date — one that brings women together to build businesses, support each other, and celebrate the season in a way that is entirely community-driven. Every element of the event — from the vendors to the speakers to the performers — will spotlight women entrepreneurs and creatives, many of whom are Newark-area residents and business owners.

Jasmine Paredes is a serial entrepreneur, investor, and community builder based in New Jersey. She is the founder and CEO of The Woman Express — a premium women's business community built around live experiences, mentorship, and marketing and sales education.

Before building The Woman Express, Jasmine scaled an event space to six figures, acquired multiple locations, and grew an employment agency past six figures — proving early on that she had the instinct and the grit to build from the ground up.

Today she channels that same energy into helping women entrepreneurs stop building alone. Through her live events, mentorship programs, and the Delusional Success Code podcast, Jasmine has created a movement for women who are serious about their businesses and ready to do the real work.
